Fixed Income, Commodities, and Derivatives Indices
Hey All,
Does anyone know the names/tickers of indices that track/follow fixed income, commodities, derivatives, or anything other than equity? I'm looking for things like the ABX index, but for everything else. I realize they're broad categories, but if you have a list or source or really anything at all that could point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it.
Thanks in advance
Check out the CBOE website

Much appreciated.
No problem. You probably noticed on the left as well, there are dozens of different indices available to read about there. (including fixed income, real estate, etc.)
Check out the websites for Lehman and Merrill Lynch for all flavors of fixed income indices. CDX (for US) and iTraxx (for Europe) are the primary standardized derivatives for the fixed income markets. You may want to check out the Mark-IT partners website for more on the credit derivatives of many types. CMBX is the ABX equivalent for commercial mortgages and TABX, i believe, is a tranched index of the ABX. Use the VIX for implied equity volatility. GSCI and Dow Jones-AIG are the primary indices for commodities
