Flow Traders Numerical Test
Has anyone interviewed with Flow and taken this test? How does it compare to Optiver's and the like? Is it like the one on their site?

Easier than Optiver's. They had a very generous time limit for the mental math (but I think quicker is better) and there was also a pattern recognition section.

After you pass the numerical test there is another online test that is pattern recognition. If you also pass that you get an onsite.
Anon, do you have any insights for the pattern recognition test? I know its split into 4 different sections, but beyond that, I wasn't sure how to prepare other than IQ test problems.
I'm not really sure how one would prepare for it. I think the questions were reasonably different than typical IQ questions. I also had very little idea about how well I did until they told me if I passed or not the next day.
actually I am curious if anyone knows how does mathematics / good mental math help in trading? Is it because it can help in calculating bid and ask spread at the desk?
