Galaxy Sales and Trading, any info?

Just want to learn more about their sales and trading team. They have a job posting in NY but I've also seen on linkedin they have some people in Hong Kong. Any insight would be helpful

Interviewed with a couple teams in their NY office so let me give my best opinion. Think of them like a crypto native bank, doing all sorts of things within the world. really depends on the desk but seems like a good place if you believe / are interested in the projection of the crypto worlds. lots if not all are ex traders / sales / other finance roles at tradfi banks and funds who just got interested in crypto (lots form credit suisse, some gs, etc.. ). really depends on the desk afterwards. Main office in NY right next to GS, comp is probably going to higher than S&T at a bb, just job security is obv more volatile.

Up to you tbh after that. Definitely one of if not the top shop in the space, but not operating at the market making capabilities of like a wintermute, cumberland etc. Good prestige tho, pretty much anyone who knows anything in ny knows Galaxy.

At first I thought this was one of those prop shops that make you pay $x to be a trader on their platform, this actually really interesting. Bumping if anyone has more information on Galaxy. Sounds like an super interesting exit after a couple years at a BB
