Goldman Sachs Securities Super Day 12/14 ?
This is my first super day invite from GS, can someone give me an idea of what I need to be looking forward to and any prep advice? It is a super day for the GS Summer Analyst Position in Sales & Trading. Anyone else have the same day??

I applied for their New York City one but the interview is at their Jersey City Office
Saw your other post. The Insight Day on the 12th is in the NYC office. I also applied for the NYC office and expect the Insight Day to lead to superday offers for that office.
Have an answer for why sales and trading Have an answer for sales or trading And most of all keep a cool head and don't lie, they already know you are smart if you have made it this far so the most important thing is showing that you can react well under pressure
Thank you Bejung , I don't have a very high GPA - will they care about it at this point or is it purely dependent on my interview? I mentioned my GPA in my in application though wondering whether I have to battle that question now ??

I got invited to a super day without any pre-interviews. (Is this normal?) mine is on the 16th with GS
I've been recruiting heavily with IB but applied for trading out of curiosity and somehow got an interview. I know generals about the industry but am still pretty clueless about the whole recruiting process for trading.
obviously trading has taken a dip in the past 5-10 years, but is it still an attractive industry to pursue? Is it competitive , and is the compensation comparable to IB
Sorry for the stupid questions, I just haven't spent much time understanding the trading world, most of my time has been spent on IB (technicals, Dcfs, and LBOs)

I did hirevue for IB and got invited to a super day. But applied seperately for trading. Did not have to complete a hirevue - id rather not disclose location. But IMO it isn't a top hub when it comes to trading.
Wait, for the superday, what was your deadline for the first round HireVue?
