Good time to Move from Natgas Trading to Renewables/Power Marketing?

Hi,

Am currently a junior trader in natural gas trading. Been approached by a couple of opps in renewable power marketing/origination. Looks pretty interesting. Just asking for an honest take on that versus what I'm in currently.

Thanks as always.

Don't.

Liquidity is poor in PWR in most of the places, yes vol is high, but cost of trade is much higher. And theres no options, comparing to ttf jkm hh. Gas is defo still in play for at least 20 yrs.

Renew pays shit in power as you are working against the market all the time. Base is much more important. but still better than retail books. Origination: not know too well, but its very transferable between trading and Origination(at least from trader to origination) so recon its more of a life style choices, but defo less upside and slower paste comparing to spec
