Graduating Fall Semester

I'm going to be working as a summer analyst in S&T this summer, and am on track to graduate December 2026.

Has anyone else who graduated in the fall semester been able to get their return offer for the January after SA, as opposed to summer after SA? Are there certain banks which allow this more that I should try and recruit for full time at?

Please don't just say "enjoy the time off". I just want to start working in NYC.

Going thru it right now. Dec 25 grad, summer 2026 start date for FT. Almost everyone told me not to start early… spend the extra six month to travel/for family. And you want to start with the rest of your class. Desk/head count availability will vary every year and differ bank to bank. Generally tho more quanty desks will be thinking about early new grads b/c a lot of mfe programs have dec graduation dates
