HELPPP

Hello All,

Fairly new to this but just want some general help, I have recently graduated from a non-target school with an IT degree. I have also been working now doing IT for a pretty relevant financial company though I want to switch and begin a focus in S&T. How should I go about applying to different S&T programs or "training" programs. I have some financial knowledge only from drooling at CNBC on 24/hr binges.....any help would be appreciated on steps to move into this position. Also have read all the recommended readings (so this will not be a response) :)

Is your IT degree in something like "management information systems" or computer science/electrical engineering? You'll have an easier time breaking in with the latter.

Also, what did you do for this "relevant financial company"? Did you install microsoft office on computers, or did you do database work, or were you some sort of a developer? Once again, the latter will give you the best chance.

Hey Thanks for the response my degree is in Management Information Systems so a bulk of my classes were Business/Finance with some high level programming classes. As far as job description application development.
