Hirevue coding challenge
Hi!
I’ve recently gotten an s&t hirevue invite with an optional coding challenge in it. Could someone shed some light on what the coding challenge entails (eg what I should read up on, the language etc.)?

Depends on the company but most likely you will be given a problem to solve and you can probably use whatever language you know.
Common examples are just Leetcode easy/medium where you can write in Java/Python/C/ pretty much any language you want.
Read up on your data structures and basic algorithms (linked list, trees, DFS/BFS, recursion, etc)

If you don't mind me asking is this for a prop shop or standard S&T desk? I'm trying to learn VBA and maybe will branch out into python and am concerned that not knowing more may cause me to fail a hirevue.
Edit: I also would not be looking for a super quant heavy desk.

it’s not a coding challenge per say more of coding test as part of the hirevue process. Used coding challenge because that’s the terminology they used in the instructions email haha
