How "competitive" is the S&T Summer Analyst program?

Hi,

I was just wondering how competitive the S&T Summer analyst programs are. I realize that it really depends on the firm, the economy at that time, and etc... but how many kids are usually invited for the super-day "on average"? Also, how many kids "on average" get an offer?

Thank you very much

to be brief:

on average, superdays run from friday - sunday; each day 25~ are interviewed that means 3*25 = 75 candidates, though it could fluctuate usually, about 5-10 people will be chosen, split between S & T functions

keep in mind there can be multiple superdays

shit.... why is it so competitive? lol.. thats like 10% acceptance rate.....

What the fuck did you expect? This is to make sure we weed out the incompetent and unmotivated (aka you).

Under my tutelage, you will grow from boys to men. From men into gladiators. And from gladiators into SWANSONS.

If you are questioning why is it so selective, I doubt you are truly fit for the industry. Also I don't see how you are a motivated person if 10% rate injects fear in you instead of excitement. I get more excited about something the harder it is to attain it.
