How is trading for a comdity firm or producer compared to the BB path of S&T?
I am a senior in college majoring in ECON and worked last summer in IBD at a BB firm. I now want to get into trading commodities. I have some leads from my dads HBS buddy's at Anadarko (engery)and Conagra. Is all the trading in these shops mainly hedging or is there some prop? Also if you start in these trading groups can you move to Wall ST or HF down the road?
