How to Switch from Sales to Trading
I am a graduate in sales, but I would like to switch to trading. How do I do that? I’m trying to spend as much time as possible with trading via video calls as they are not in my regional office but it doesn’t seem to speed the process.
My manager and colleagues know I want to switch but they don’t want/ can’t help. What else can I do? I also spoke to the manager of the trading desk that I like. He said “leave it with me” but it seems complicated.
Any advice? I’m in FX sales, I would like to go to FX STIR trading. I have been on the desk for 7 months, and I want to avoid to stay here much more.
