IMC Trading (Quant Trading) vs. Bridgewater (Investment Associate)
Graduating senior from college this year, have done an fundamental research internship role at Bridgewater and quant trading internship at a competitor (think SIG/JS). I study Applied Math, Economics and Computer Science at school and my ideal role would be to do QR/Quant Research at hedge fund. I've heard great things about the culture at IMC and quantitative methods seem interesting (fully automated so more of a QR flavor, I enjoy data science). However, I prefer the location (NYC) and questions of Bridgewater more I think (understanding how the world works >> gaining slight edge or speed). Any advice on what to choose?
