Invesco Institutional Sales Interview?
Anyone have any experience with Invesco's Institutional Sales Analyst interview? Have an interview later this week and want to know what to expect. I'm pivoting from Retail Finance for Vanguard in the Business Development Group there and don't have much institutional experience so I want to be as prepared as possible.
Check the reviews in the company database it may help https://www.wallstreetoasis.com/company/invesco-asset-management
Interviewing for the same position this week. What have you used to prepare so far?
So far just standard interview prep with STAR questions and all that good stuff. I really don't know how technical the interview is going to be or really what to expect, as the phone portion was very broad. What about you?
Yeah same my phone interview wasn't technically a typical one. But we have the same strategy Im using the STAR questions as well and becoming familiar of the companies background and their products.
Would you expect the institutional products to be very different from their retail products? I've been researching their funds but don't know exactly what types of products I should be honing in on.
I wouldn't think so. But at the same time I'm looking at the broader perspective I know if i have some type of general knowledge of what they do and what they offer their clients as well as they're perspective on the markets also situational areas i think we'd be good. As far as their products i just researched their main funds that are most profitable to them.
How did your interview go? Did any of you get an offer?
