I have another related question: Does anyone know about RBS's associate level pay in trading at their Stamford CT office?
They typically underpay you upfront (a lot) and are cost cutters everything they possibly can - infrastructure, support staff etc - but they have some better longer term benefits - such as a pension - good 401k matches (but imagine longer vesting) etc. In exchange tho - you have a lot more job security.
Thanks, speaking to the few people I know at those banks it also seems as a non Japanese speaking American, I would have significantly limited upward mobility.
