JPM APAC offer vs London trading recruitment (SA Recruiting)

Target school student + Target Course in London, graduating next year. Really set on trading as my career path. (Final goal is to work in trading field in London)

Background:

  • Did springs at top HFs/prop shops (bombed conversion rounds)
  • Big 4 deals advisory internship in first year
  • Got JPM summer offer in front office (could be IB/ER/S&T) but it's in APAC (think Philippines, Thailand, Taiwan)

The dilemma: Should I take JPM or keep grinding for London trading roles at MM firms still recruiting? Alternatively, do 2 internships by taking JPM but try for a boutique trading shop in London on the side?

Worried the APAC experience might screw me for London grad roles. I hear the market is absolutely cooked with BB people lateraling everywhere.

Anyone been in a similar situation? What's the play here?

Thank you so much! : )
