Looking for guidance(Share your knowledge)

Hello everyone. I am an aspiring prop trader hoping to be able to do FX and ultimately start an aggressive global macro fund.

My purpose of creating this thread is hoping someone in the industry can point me in the right direction and perhaps shed some light on the knowledge/skills that is applied on the job as a trader.

This so that I can reflect on the knowledge that I have and see where I am lacking and work on it. Some background of myself,

I am 20 years old. I fell in love with the financial markets at the age of 14 intrigued by how everything whether big or small can affect the movements of the markets. Since the age of 14 til now I've been reading articles from BGN/CNBC/WSJ and my local business papers in order to condition my mindset to that of a trader.

I have started trading as a retail investor 1.5 years ago, am doing fine thanks to the volatile environment and strict discipline. However, I fear that when this volatility ends and market stabilizes I will not win anymore. Also given my limited knowledge and lack of professional guidance I fear that my rationale and understanding maybe flawed.

Hope that someone is willing to spend a little time to guide and share the intricacies of the trade with me.
