Lost in capital markets - Junior

Hello guys, I managed to get a job for equity solutions at a investment bank after bachelors and am absolutely lost. I don't really know where to start and how things work to get a trade done and unfortunately they fired the guy doing equities 3 months before I started. I don't really know where to start, I already started talking to clients about payoffs but do not know what the usual process is of issuing security or dealing a swap or other financial instruments... documentation etc. Before I started here they told me that there will be a rotation and kind of graduate programme but what I now experience is that I am on my own without any help. Is this really the usual start or what did you guys experience?

Happy for help and advice!!
