Moving to trading?

Been in sales in macro for a year now, I cover pretty technical clients (mostly HF) and feel like I’m somewhat enjoying the lifestyle and all. The team is great and values me, I got no risk and I make decent money (I know sales doesn’t make much in relative terms but I am ok with it)

However, I feel like my learning curve is not great now. My team is awesome in many things but at the end of the day they are sales and the technical knowledge they have is limited. I feel like I am spread out over too many products to actually learn anything concrete and if anything, I feel like although this might be a good life for now I might want to do trading now that I’m young to at least develop some expertise for some time. Also, although the products I cover are somewhat illiquid, I still feel like 10 yrs down the line in the industry I would probably appreciate to have spent some time in trading as sales might be more easily disposable of. Should I make the move and just swallow the pill for 1-2-3 years? Obviously the idea of being stressed out and all though obviously doesn’t sound great. Especially now that I’m early enough (2nd year analyst)
