MS vs. Barclays vs. Citi vs. BAML vs. Deutsche S&T (All NYC)

Hi my fellow WSO friends, I have been/highly likely will be given offers in these couple banks under sales and trading. For MS it is specifically in equities and DB in FIC. Any suggestions on how to rank them or just any insights in general? Thank you!!!

Thank you! Any insights about the retention rates? I heard MS is recently no longer making the interns compete against each other

They’re all relatively similar, they are competitive at every bank. During my SA it was around 70-80% for reference. You should take into account the structure of the program, for Citi for the FT folks they have 6 month rotations with each desk vs GS/JPM where you get placed on a desk from the get go. The pro is that you get to try out and learn many different products with the con being that you won’t really get your own book until your associate years while your peers have already had some trading exp
