Need guidance for my MSc thesis on Commodities

Good afternoon,

I hesitate between several subjects for my thesis
-Options strategies in commodities (arbitrage, paper & physical trading) . As I like metals and energy maybe I could get spectific on a particular product.
-Hedging strategies in commodities/oil/gas/copper/aluminium ...
-or something more controversial like how the global geopolitical instability (middle east, russia, china etc.) impact oil and gas supply and demand.

I wish to leverage it during my future discussions/interviews with peoples from this industry
Thank you

I would say go the geopolitical instability route; but then go to tier 2 and choose something very second level micro in that regards. Think how the global geopolitical instability affects "commodity x" by affecting "oil and gas supply and demand".
