Need HELP!!

i needed some advice on my situation.

I go to a non target currently a junior and have (3.0-3.4 gpa). I had countless interviews for solid IB firms which was acquired through networking (SA 2021), however i got rejected by them all. I recently accepted a S&T position for SA 2021 (because i had no other options ) at a international bank which i am truly grateful for!! But my end goal is IB (at any firm)

1) i can recruit for FT IB after but how how hard would that be knowing i dont have any prior IB experience just have my networks.

2) Should i take a extra semester, and recruit again if so what minor would look good

Need some advice, anything would be helpful thank you!

S&T can be a great career - give it a fair shot and be open minded, grass is not always greener on the other side. If you are still convinced that IB is what you want, make adjustments to our current strategy. Clearly, you're good at networking as you got interviews - try doing the same thing but this time be better prepared for them, make sure you don't waste your bullets. As for the minor, I don't think anyone cares, especially in this industry. Try to boost your GPA as much as possible, take easier courework if that is what it takes.
