Niche Prop Firms/Quant Trading Firms

I have some experience at a well known quant trading but I want to try and branch out to a different firm. Most headhunters I've talked to so far only mention large firms/well known smaller ones (JS, HRT, Jump, Aquatic, Jump, Radix, Headlands, Cit/Sec, Vatic, etc). but I'd like to go even more niche.

I've heard rumors of companies like Tricore, MQI, Spark, Ansatz, etc. having potentially more enticing comp packages, but I can barely find any information of them online (in some cases they have 0 online presence), and headhunters haven't ever pitched me these firms. I've tried to dig pretty deep (i.e SEC filings, searching on other forums, asking people) but they are almost impossible to get info on :(

Does anyone have: (1). Information on more niche firms, (2). methods of effectively getting noticed by them/or a headhunter?

Wrong forum for the question (Trading forum on WSO more applicable) but in general I think you'd be better off asking /r/quant on Reddit. Seems like a lot more quant traders post there than here, and I've seen Aquatic, Ansatz etc mentioned there from time to time.

Tbh information is pretty sparse on there too (probably worse). I thought WSO would have more information since I've seen a few fairly well informed posts about the industry.
