Nikkei Index

Hey guys! What are your thoughts on the Nikkei Index?
It rose over 25% in 3 months. It have a P/E ratio of over 28, dividend yield at 1.6%. I realized that JPY have been enormously depreciating in the span of this 3 months too, but how does that affect the valuation of the nikkei index?

AsatarDepends on your view of Japan and it's future. If you're bearish Kyle Bass-style, then it's probably just making a short look more and more appealing. If you're bullish, it would probably help confirm your view that Japan is trying to make a turnaround.
Yea, I understand where you are coming from. But what i meant to ask is that, if lets say the jpy continues to depreciate and usdjpy hits like 150, and thus causing the nikkei to hit like 20,000. The dividend yield is 0.7%. Ceteris paribus, is it more expensive?
