Non-Oil Commods programs?
Are there any trading development programs like Shell's or BP's for other, non-oil commodities? Oil just seems crowded and not as interesting to me.
Alternatively, are there any shops/funds that have internships or post-grad roles that would be adjacent to a desk?
Not really looking at S&T either.
BP Houston TDP is only gas and power, shell also has spots on gas and power desks along with basically every TDP/analyst program in the industry. Unfortunately in many cases you won’t have much a say in what product/desk you end up on.
What about ABCD programs?
Ag firms like Bunge and Cargill have trainee programs. Learn what it means to be poor and do Ags!
Does it really take that long to end up with P&L in their TDP? I assumed a TDP would be quicker than working middle office and converting to a desk. I also for the life of me can't figure out what they want in a candidate.
Dude, go use the search bar. This topic has been discussed many times and I promise you will find 90% of the info you are looking for.
Just asking your opinion since you were kind enough to comment, I've been looking and found most of what I asked. I should have asked what the best non-oil programs were.
