If you still have insight on this… is total # of marbles fixed @ optiver ? Or do they print them and devalue everyone? What happens to marble value as additional people are hired, ones bonus decreases?

Any information about how many marbles are allotted to an entry level trader? I know once the bonus is calculated based on marbles, there are 5 categories of how much bonus you can get. Category 3 means 100% of calculated, 2 means 130% and 1 means 200%.. These are based on performance evaluation. Also, any clue what's the typical growth y-o-y and on promotion??

Have a friend who works here who kind of have me the scoop. Marbles have been work significantly more than 2k since Covid due to their expansion into different asset classes I think they just opened an Austin office and have been expanding their FX desks in London office. Best year was 2020 but 2021 was also significantly above 2015-19 avg.

Starting out after first year of training and starting on a desk, traders get on avg 50 marbles then bump to 100 then 200 but idk after that - friend hasn’t gotten that far.
