Part Time Swap Desk Assistant

So I've been working in retail finance since graduation in May. Basically think business development. Took the job for security and automatic paycheck after school at a reputable asset manager with the aspect of career growth. Additionally I'm taking level one in June.

Trading really interests me and I have been looking at opportunities to transition to a dev program or assist a desk. That being said, PNC capital markets has a part time role on their SWAP desk here in Philadelphia. The job description cites ~20hrs a week and assisting traders as well as sales. As someone without an S&T background or internship is this worth trying to leverage and potentially leaving my fulltime gig. I feel like it would be but I have no idea what PNC is like, also because operations are smaller here in PA compared to NYC I wanted to know what someone else thinks.

Thanks
