Please help - trading interview

I'm a rising soph in college. Recently I had posted about an interview at group one. I had my interview yesterday. The MD of ops and the head recruiter were on the interview. It was a phone/video call.

When I first got contacted, I asked the recruiter bout what qeustions I should expect. She said questions by which they will know me, my interests, and tell me about the internship. And at the end a few basic maths question.

During the interview (it was just a bit over 30 mins) the MD was in charge throughout the call (recruiter was just sitting behind and smiling). All she asked me were fit questions. No maths Qs. All I was asked was about how I applied to group1, why trading (a lot of times), why group1, my coding backgroun (lots of Qs about this), why do I play the sport I play (again a lot about this - I'm an athlete). And tons of questuon about my maths research background after which I was explained about the internship at group1, after which she asked me if I have any Qs and asked me if I had any interviews before (just 1). And then she said I shpuld exoect something in a week or two. She even asked by when I will be in NYC and of I'm interested in a possible spring/summer internship if fall isnt possible. Every. Damn. Question was about fit and the like. NO MATH QUESTION!!! I think I screwed up the interview in the first half so they didn't ask me any maths questions. Any thoughts on this??? Is this normal??? I'm so paranoid because they said I should hear back in a week or two but mostly because I wasn't asked any maths questions, which from glassdoor, are there on every single interview. Did I, as I assume, screw up the interview???

I apologise for the wall of text but I'm really paranoid

Tl;dr: recruiter said I should exoect a few maths Qs during interview. MD just asked fit Qs, not a single maths Q. I'm paranoid if I scrwed up

EDIT: So I ended up asking my interviewer about this because I was getting too nervous. They said that based on my resume my math skills were strong enough for them to not ask mr any math Qs and focus more on the internship and trading. Thats what they told me haha

Hey man, you're ahead of the pack so relax. Interviews like this happens. Just wait until you have a 30 min interview that only lasts 15min because they will only ask like 2 questions... Again it happens. Sometimes it's because they have already selected someone else and sometimes it's just how it is and you might get another interview/ the offer. There's really no way to know for sure. But just make sure you follow up with them and maybe explain something that you missed out on during one of the questions. best of luck bud

Yeah, the MD said that they had already filled some of the spots for internships. And I alreay followed uo and explained aomething I might have missed on, as you said. Thanks a lot for helping me. I'm just nervous because this was only the second interview I have given ever... I hope I get another interview or something out of it. But thanks again
