Politely asking to take a dump during trading hours
incoming SA w GI issues. is it weird to have to holler at the associate or Md at the desk that you need to take a dookie during market hours. Also I’m worried in general about this, should I just not eat during market hours so I never have to use the restroom. My stomach is super sensitive. I’m saying this in a joking way but kinda a real issue lol

Lol JK on my desk when I was on the sell-side for incoming SA you're not literally taking client orders and trading so it's nbd. You're working on projects for the desk, learning about the markets, shadowing traders, etc.
Just use the bathroom I don't think I'd think twice unless you're doing it during calls, or missing networking/catchup meetings with analysts/seniors because you're shitting.
When I was an analyst and I was on Symphony/Voice Chat with the team I'd be like brb in 5 using bathroom rq.

You literally do not / cannot trade as an S&T SA because of regulatory reasons, so don't see why this would be a problem
