Prime Brokerage MO Ops

Does anyone have input on prime brokerage middle office operations roles? I am interviewing for a position soon and want to know what to expect the role to entail. Is it very mundane ops type work or does it touch some securities lending/sales that typically are included within Prime Services?

I work in PB MO ops right now and I would say it leans more towards the mundane side. it’s one of the better ops positions but it’s still ops. Client interaction is pretty minimal at first and you’ll probably have a daily set of tasks to do that won’t change for a long period of time. If you do good work and don’t mess up clients and management will trust you more for info and other things they need so you’ll get more interaction/exposure but that will probably take a while.
