I recently got an offer from a pretty well known vol arb shop. For the first 6 months I will be in a training status..so that is just a simple salary. After that, its salary plus bonus, where bonus is a combination or individual P&L, firm performance, and 'overall contribution' (i.e. discretionary to management).
Any idea what I can realistically expect comp to be once I am actually trading?
