Prop trading vs SWE For Junior summer

I got lucky enough to have offers both at a top quant HF for prop trading (one of D.E. Shaw, Point 72, Citadel), and at a top tech firm in the Bay for SWE. (One of NVIDIA, Meta, Apple).

I already interned at the tech firm this summer, (this is a returning offer). Was wondering if I should give trading a shot or if that could ruin my full time recruiting after graduating. (I'm international). Looking for some advice. Is a trading internship well seen back in the Bay. How are these hedge funds looking like for the future?

Tbh you’d prob get much better advice on blind or Reddit than from the monkeys on wso - ur obv very smart, I don’t think u can make a wrong decision here

DESCO has prop trading internships and only Citsec is prop, not citadel. p72 yeah out of the question lol
