Queens for S&T?

Hello just joined the forums,

I currently attend a Canadian non-target aiming to end up in S&T. I am looking to transfer to a target and I was wondering which school places the best in S&T (Preferably trading). Searching "Sales and Trading" on LinkedIn, I found a lot of Alumni from Ivey (which is a given), quite a few from U of T and McGill, but not too many from Queens.

Could someone currently working in Canadian S&T share which school would be the best choice?

At one of the schools you mentioned above...I'd say you definitely want to be at Ivey/Queens/Mcgill. However, important to note the amount of Canadian Banks with S&T roles is EXTREMELY limited. To give you an idea, for my summer class, there were roughly 8-10 people with a job in S&T, and out of those, about 4 are going back FT.

For trading, University of Waterloo as it dominates in a lot of the quant heavy program which are seeked heavily for trading. Plus I believe there are a lot of alumni from Waterloo and U of T in trading.
