Shortwave radio for latency arbitrage
I recently came across the article on Bloomberg about traders using shortwave radios for transatlantic and transpacific arbitrage trading. They claim to reduce latency from Chicago to Frankfurt from 37ms to 32ms.
Does anyone actually use those? Is it reliable enough?
