SS trading exit ops outside NYC?

Hi all,

It seems as if sell-side trading in FI and Eq is concentrated almost entirely in NYC - what kind of exit ops are there for an equity derivatives trader outside of the city? I'm concerned for the increasing COL here and I'm not entirely sure what opportunities exist for similar roles besides prop trading

Thanks!
