S&T 2027 Advice

I go to a target(top 20 school, every recruits it) with strong clubs/internship experience and networked my ass off, more than a lot of my friends who have landed BB and EB IB jobs, yet I feel like I did something wrong. 0 interviews so far, outright rejected from the firm I did most networking at. What can I do to get back on track?

im ngl i'm pretty convinced this whole process is rng. you can do everything right (network aggressively, have good grades + resume) and still not get jack shit.

I go to a t20 as well and i have friends that are in a similar boat to yall. One of them has done 10 calls at citi and didn't even get a R1 and one of my other boys didn't network at all with a mid resume at best that got SPD for DB. I've also gotten interviews at a couple banks without networking with a gpa in the low 3s.

Pretty convinced that networking only helps slightly at best unless it's a person that's REALLY pulling for you on the other side. Keep your heads up and stay grinding, good luck yall

You are ON track. You just need to keep going. Make sure you leave no stone unturned. It's a marathon, not a sprint. You only need one YES. Take it from a guy who sent out 550 paper applications and cover letters 30+ years ago. Stay with it.
