Structured Credit Insights?
Can someone explain a bit more about the various roles/desks in structured credit? And what is it like working in this area as a trader/structurer?
What is the environment like now in structured credit and which banks are doing well in this area?
Also, what sort of backgrounds is required - is a mathematical degree necessary?
Here's a sample of the structured credit desk at DB:

Can anyone give a short explanation of this field? (what does it deal with?) Pros and cons? Personal experience? What departement does it belong to? How interesting the job is? How is pay? And hours?
