Structured EM trading

Hi, can anyone give me background on this product? I summered in Structured Credit, and loved it, but would hopefully like to get into EM since spreads appear more mispriced. Is this a fast growing product? thx

em credit or rate or fx? what makes you say the 'spreads are mispriced' and what spreads are you exactly talking about.

what foreign languages do you speak?

I'm really open to both credit and rates, but my "experience" is in credit so that might turn me more towards that (that would rely on foreign corporates, too, right?). I'm referring to sovereign credit spreads when I say they are mispriced, since the typical default probability models I don't think can be applied to countries where standard financial models don't necessarily apply, as well as where political relationships are arguably more important. Again , I'm really inexperienced, so this might be totally off, but it's just a feeling I have.

I speak Spanish and Italian, although if time permits I'd try to learn Russian (doubtful, though).

well i'm sure like credit derivs in general there's a lot of growth ops. cds spreads on sovereigns can whip around a lot obviously and that can create opportunities for sure.
