Tibra Capital Test?
Hello,
Has anyone taken the Tibra Capital in house exam? Do you know if it scratch paper is allowed for the math portion?
I'm trying to figure out if I should brush up my mental arithmetic or work on being more efficient with paper calculations.
Thanks.
I went on a few trading interviews before, and they allowed scratch paper. But, not familiar with Tibra practices.

Do the math test on all difficulty levels timed. I printing it and doing it paper and pencil to be more accurate.
This one's also ok: http://arithmetic.zetamac.com/play

Tibra Capital Online Application Test (Originally Posted: 11/25/2010)
Hello,
I am looking for some helpful advice on what I might expect with an online aptitude test such as that being asked for by Tibra Capital? I think Deloitte also require the same sort of test and all round it seems to be a fairly common method for measuring candidates' problem solving and analytical skills.
Tibra: 'We require applicants to sit a number of aptitude tests, each set at between 30 and 60 minutes'.
Many thanks for the help.
Usually, online aptitude tests mean psychometric (numerical, logical and verbal). They aren't difficult, but practice is crucial to ensuring you are successful.
www.shl.com - this website has a full practice test so familiarise yourself with it.
I just completed the first online test (SHL numerical reasoning). 18 questions in 25 minutes with standard charts/tables - not too bad really although i've heard that the next stage includes a maths barrier test and a lengthy logic test both of which are a lot harder.
