TRADE QUESTION

In a cash account, say I buy a stock and it needs 3 days to settle, do I have to wait for it to settle in order to sell? Or could I sell on the day I buy it, but only use the funds from the selling it after it settles (3days after sale)?

Thanks

You can sell the same day and purchase a different assets. The funds will not be available until the settle date.

Only two sources I trust, Glenn Beck and singing woodland creatures.
