Trading course?

Hey, guys, pretty new member here. I wanted to ask you for a good trading course/program. Although i am currently interning as a stockbroker in my country (Bulgaria), i really want to sharpen up my trading knowledge and learn something new. I am also starting soon my final year being a finance student. I have been thinking about buying The Trader from Financial Edge or going with the FIMC and EMC bundle from Wall Street Prep. As far as i know, they are being used in the big investment banks to train the new employees. What do you guys think?

You can't learn trading by reading books, it's a job that's learned through mentorship and slowly building up responsibilities. All people who are real traders (not internet daytrading scammers) know this. The skillset you need and will develop is also extremely dependent on the product you're trading and your specific desk. A market maker, a prop trader, or a trader managing a physical assets might all be trading the same contracts but have a very different job.

That being said, there are some truisms that are true across all trading jobs. For example that you need to be able to control certain emotions, or that you need to have a healthy risk appetite. But you won't fully appreciate these until you're actually in the job.

I did read one book that I think is a good read for any trader or student wanting to become a trader: The Laws of Trading by August Lebron https://www.amazon.nl/-/en/Agustin-Lebron/dp/1119574218

Once you do know the product you trade there are plenty of books and blogs that can help you expand your knowledge but they won't actually help you make better decisions. For that I can think of two things that will help you: playing poker, and trading/investing with a couple of thousands. Lastly, knowing how to code up some random Python scripts will really make you a more attractive hire.
