Trading projects roadmap

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for some advice on how to structure a series of projects that go from beginner to advanced in order to show a deeper interest in the trading sector. My goal is to build a portfolio of projects (on GitHub, Kaggle, etc.) that demonstrate both technical skills and understanding of markets, mostly with Python and related tools.

What would be a good progression of projects to work on? For example, starting with something like basic data analysis of stock prices, then moving towards more complex topics such as backtesting strategies, factor modeling, or maybe even reinforcement learning in trading.

Basically, I want to create a roadmap of projects that can demonstrate growth from simple to advanced, and i'd like to understand which would be most valuable to include.

Thanks a lot for your insights!
