Terrible. Low Pay and essentially TA traders with no transferrable skills. This is probably just one level above the arcade shops that make you pay to leverage up your capital. Won't help you build a career in trading at all and would be laughed at resume wise for an actual prop/market-making firm as well as the buy-side. Imagine more formal forex trading gurus from instagram.
When you say TA traders, what do you mean? What are guys at better shops using to trade? Technically, TA can be anything from using shitty random indicators on a chart, to making financial models using geometric brownian motion, which, to my understanding, some of the better firms use.
The latter sounds more similar to quantitative analysis than technical. I mean they are buying and selling based on lines on a screen and not any sort of quantitative alpha that is proven to be a probabilistic anomaly in which their signals they use have more edge to them than it went above this line
I interviewed today (11/30/23) and their updated pay is 60k + 20% commission on profitable trades, but as you gain more experience you can earn up to 70% commission.
