Hi. Not the that program. An MSC in Energy. TX A&M has one. But was also asking for opinions on any MSC Energy programs.
I’ve personally never met anyone with that background at a few majors or banks or funds but that doesn’t mean that it doesn’t happen.
To me it sounds like a policy, research oriented type of route vs trading.
Maybe the department that runs it has some placement stats you can look into.
Network alone will be worth having if you can’t find a way in. If you can transfer to A&M as an undergrad, apply to the TRIP program, that will guarantee you a job.

I haven't heard of that program at A&M, but the one that for sure feeds into the big trading houses is the finance program (kids who do the TRIP program or MS in finance). That program for sure gives you a big networking leg up for recruiting.
