UBS Commodities London
Does UBS still have a commodities desk in London or not? (I have heard they sold parts to JP Morgan, does anyone has further info on this, which parts they exaclty sold, if they have reestablished commodities etc...?)
They sold it in 2008. They have a minimal metals presence, although that was essentially wiped out when JR left.
They actually got rid of nearly all their commodities practice, with the exception of metals, energy and a minimal presence within AM (all based out of Zurich). Some recent suggestion they're going to grow a new Agri practice.
