Having spent a bit of time on wso, it’s been clear to me that the outlook for ubs ib isn’t looking great. That said, does that apply to the whole bank, particularly its GM group?
Any thoughts on s/t at ubs?
I think it’s fine/performing decently, albeit weaker than other large BBs. Probably still some redundancies with ex CS people / headcount

Would you know what desks have been strong/stronger historically?
I heard that structured products is up there.
Am IB so unfortunately no idea
I think***** rates, equity derivs, and structured products rings a bell about beig decent

UBS has good e-trading teams across all assets. Heard they are paid well too and have low attrition. Equities derivs is probably also good.

no clue. my comment is valid for ny and ldn. do you know what is traded out of zurich?
Not sure on the overall quality of the floor but do know they’re one of the last banks with a retail flow desk (after MS shut theirs down) for whatever thats worth.
Its traditionally good in Equities. both in cash and derivatives. Not so sure about FICC though
