I managed it but without sounding full of myself its very hard.....

Did summer at a HF (not the biggest name but super lean team and knew I was going to be given more responsible than basically any other seat from the first day) and got the return but had HH reach out about joining one of the top macro funds after degree finishes which I accepted. Background I'm from the UK studying at maths/physics at oxbridge with international Olympiad experience and have been investing/ managing a portfolio since I was around 16 both discretionary and quant strategies.

What funds want to see is a track record, if you can provide one of those then you have a chance.
