I discretionally manage client capital in the wealth management space. Prior to this, I had a background as a sales and trading assistant and clerk at a well known sellside house, and then when it stagnated after 2008, along with some personal growth I had to work on, I tried getting a job in one more well known shop which didn’t really materialize, and I made a decision to take this path.

I certainly don’t hate what I do, it just paid better and offered much more broad and fast growth for a guy getting a family going and it has treated me well, plus learned a lot of really useful stuff at a couple great WM houses, but I miss the creativity and general interest I had in pursuing trading.
