Wharton Investment Competition

Hey everyone, I'm a high school senior competing in the High School Wharton Investment Competition (trading simulator competition). I was thinking: where can I get tips and advice for a trading competition? My answer is the WSO sales and trading forum. What better place to get advice for a trading competition than from actual S&T professionals?

To all users that respond to this: thank you so much in advance for taking the time out of your busy days to help me out!

I did it Junior year, and our team actually made it to global finals. It's an awesome competition, super fun, and looks great on the resume for colleges and even internships. The judges really look for creativity, thought, and passion more than they do for returns/portfolio performance. Some examples of strategies we saw during the final round were an AI algorithm that did NLP sentiment analysis (via Twitter), a top-down "rating system" across different sectors/industries, and an ESG/Sustainability strategy. The sky's the limit.
