Back to IB from VC/Growth?
Hi,
Is it possible to go back to IB at the ~VP level after a couple/few years in VC or Growth equity? Understand it's not uncommon for people doing LBO's and the like given the skill set, but has anyone seen it happen for people who were doing earlier stage work?

I enjoyed banking. If you’re at a top name in a good group you work on exciting transactions. Income very reliable and can be extremely high if you become very good. Not, led the round at Facebook high, but still millions a year, sometimes tens of millions in rare cases.
Valid point. I think IB gets a bad rap, but I would be lying if I said I was not interested in getting my feet wet in actual investing.
Any update here?
Saw Moelis pick up a few GE guys in 2022. Probably to have that warm channel.
