Best Majors for Consulting/Venture Capital

My two career paths that I am interested in are Venture Capital and Consulting. As a sophomore (non-target), I need to declare my majors and have narrowed it down to two choices. The first is finance/math/management major with a masters in accounting and the second is finance/math undergrad with a masters in accounting and statistics. The masters are only an additional year, so the cost is negligible. I know consulting firms like quant majors, but is one path significantly better than the other? Thanks

VC tends to favor engineering majors as they can understand the investment in TMT space more and there is very little finance knowledge needed. Any major is fine for consulting as long as you can prove that you are analytical and good with numbers.

If you really want to choose between those two I would pick the second option. A masters in accounting and stats will look better than "simply" accounting since it would be more quantitative. Try to take business-oriented electives to compensate for not taking general management earlier (i.e. don't go full financial markets and derivatives).
